Each national Amazon store has its own gift card program. Amazon.com balance cannot be spent on Amazon.co.uk or Amazon.ca, even if you sign in to those stores with the same details. Choose the website where you actually shop and check that your purchase accepts gift card balance. This credit stays with that store account; it is not Amazon Pay credit for unrelated websites.

No. Choose a card for the Amazon website where you will buy.
Can I move redeemed credit to someone else?
Redeemed gift card balance stays with the account where it was applied. Give the unredeemed code to the intended recipient instead.
Do I have to spend the whole balance on one order?
No. Amazon deducts the amount used for an eligible purchase and keeps the remainder on the account for later orders.
What if an Amazon.com order costs more than my balance?
Pay the remaining amount with another payment method offered at checkout. The gift-card balance can cover part of an eligible order.
Can I buy another gift card with Amazon.com balance?
No. Amazon.com balance cannot buy other gift cards or prepaid payment cards. Some other products are also excluded.
Can I use it on another website through Amazon Pay?
No. Amazon.com gift-card balance is not a payment method for Amazon Pay purchases on unrelated websites.
