EA Play gives you access to eligible games in EA’s Play List while the membership is active, plus the trials, rewards, and discounts included in the current offer. It is useful for exploring EA titles over a chosen period instead of buying each game outright.
Xbox membership codes redeem on a Microsoft account. EA Play on the EA app, Steam, and PlayStation is sold separately; an Xbox code does not unlock all of them. Check your existing subscriptions before buying, since some Game Pass plans already include EA Play. Microsoft may convert a redeemed code when another eligible subscription is active, so review the term shown before confirming.

EA Play Membership Card FAQ.
Does an Xbox code activate EA Play on the EA app or PlayStation?
No. EA Play subscriptions purchased through the EA app, Steam, or PlayStation are separate from EA Play on Xbox.
What if I already have Game Pass?
Check whether your plan already includes EA Play. Microsoft can convert an EA Play code under its current subscription rules.
Is this EA Play Pro?
No. EA Play Pro is a separate membership available only through the EA app on PC. An Xbox EA Play code does not activate Pro.
Does EA Play include every EA game?
No. The Play List changes and differs by platform and region. Check the Xbox Play List for the specific game you want before choosing a term.
How do the early trials work?
Eligible new-release trials are time-limited rather than full-game ownership. Fully quit the game when you finish a session: a trial left running in the background continues to use its play time.
Will I need an EA Account as well as an Xbox account?
Yes. EA requires an EA Account even when you join through Xbox. Link the intended Xbox and EA accounts, and check that you are signed in to those accounts when opening a game.
What happens to games when the membership ends?
Play List access ends with the membership unless you have separate access to the game. Games you bought with an EA Play discount remain yours.
