Steam Wallet credit can cover a game on your wishlist, DLC for a favorite, or several smaller releases during a sale. Redeem the code once, then choose your purchases in the Steam Store. It adds spending money to your account rather than activating a particular game key.
You can use the balance over several purchases and keep the remainder for later. Supported in-game content and eligible Community Market items also use Wallet funds, although individual games and account restrictions still apply. Compare the value with the current Steam price of what you want to buy, and choose the currency of your wallet. Once redeemed, the funds belong to that Steam account.

Can I redeem a different currency?
Steam may reject a Wallet code issued in a currency different from your account’s currency. Choose a matching code.
Does the code change my store country?
No. Adding Wallet credit does not change your Steam store country.
Where can I see the balance?
Sign in to Steam and open Account Details to view your Wallet balance.
Is this a game key?
No. It adds Steam Wallet credit. You then choose what to buy in the Steam Store; redeeming the code does not activate a particular game.
What if my Wallet balance is less than the purchase price?
Steam asks for another payment method to cover the remainder. The available methods depend on your region and are shown at Steam checkout.
Can I withdraw or move redeemed Wallet funds?
No. Steam Wallet funds cannot be withdrawn or transferred to another Steam account. Check the signed-in account before redeeming.
