Can I move the balance to another account?
No. Sony does not allow wallet funds or redeemed content to move between accounts.
Will it work with a child account?
Redeem wallet top-ups on the family manager’s account and check the child’s spending limit.
Does the card add a Plus membership?
It adds wallet credit. You choose a subscription separately in PlayStation Store.
Can I keep part of the credit for later?
Yes. Redeeming adds the full card value to your wallet. Purchases use that balance, and any remainder stays on the same PlayStation account.
Why does PlayStation say the code has already been used?
Check the transaction history of the accounts used on your console. A voucher can be redeemed only once. If none of those accounts redeemed it, contact support with the order number and the exact error.
Will another country’s card work if it uses the same currency?
The account country and voucher country must match. A shared currency, such as euros, does not make cards from different countries interchangeable.
