Can I redeem a different currency?
Twitch requires the card currency to match your country of residence, and the balance to match the purchase currency.

What can I buy with the balance?
Use it for eligible channel subscriptions, Bits, and Twitch Turbo through Twitch’s web checkout. It does not automatically subscribe you to a channel when redeemed.
Will purchases made in a browser work in the mobile app?
Yes. Benefits such as subscription emotes and purchased Bits remain available in the Twitch app. Buying with gift-card balance and redeeming the card still use the browser.
